Proposed Canopy Trail

The U.S. Department of Agriculture, Agricultural Research Service, U.S. National Arboretum (USNA) has prepared an Environmental Assessment (EA) to analyze the potential impacts associated with the proposed construction and operation of a canopy trail attraction at the USNA in Washington, DC. The purpose of the proposed action is to expand educational and visitor opportunities, as well as generate revenue for the USNA.

Seasonal Traffic Pattern Changes in Spring 2024

Seasonal Bathrooms Open for 2024

Seasonal restrooms in the Asian Collection and near the former Grove of State Trees by the corner of Eagle Nest and Azalea Roads have opened for 2024.

As a reminder, accessible bathrooms are available in the Administration Building/Visitor Center daily from 8:00 am – 4:30 pm and at Arbor House whenever the grounds are open. Both buildings are located near the R Street gate and parking lot.
