USDA’s Farmers Market & Pollinator Exhibit Exposition

June 24th 2022 -

Pollinator Week is an annual celebration in support of pollinator health that was initiated and is managed by Pollinator Partnership.

DID YOU KNOW?

Pollinators such as birds, bees, bats, butterflies, moths and other insects are vital partners to our nation’s food system, economy and ecosystem.

Farmers and ranchers of more than 100 U.S.-grown crops rely on pollinators to ensure we have a variety of fruits, nuts and vegetables to support a healthy diet.

Pollinators are an integral part of our National Forests and grasslands and provide significant environmental benefits necessary for healthy, biodiverse ecosystems.

USDA and its agencies invest and actively engage in conservation stewardship, research and programs to support pollinator health, protect and maintain their habitats, and contribute to the economic and ecological wellness of our agricultural food system.
