Picture of the fruit of doll's eyes, Actaea pachypoda

This is doll's eyes, Actaea pachypoda.
Each white fruit has a small black spot, hence the common name doll's eyes.
Doll's eyes grow well in rich moist soil in a partially shaded location.
This native perennial dicot belongs to the family Ranunculaceae.
You can find doll's eyes in the Fern Valley Native Plant Collection.
