Sweet Betsy is one of the earliest of the trillium clan to bloom in the Fern Valley Native Plant Collection. This perennial monocot (family Liliaceae) is native to the southeastern U.S. from Kentucky and North Carolina south to Florida and is hardy in USDA zones 3 to 9 and grows best in light shade and moist soil. |
