


The Arboretum grounds are open Friday through Monday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Admission is free. The Visitor Center is open Friday through Monday (except for the holidays listed below) from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The National Bonsai & Penjing Museum is open Friday through Monday (except for the holidays listed below) from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The Arbor House Gift Shop is open Friday through Monday from 10:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. from March 1 through mid-December, and until 5:00 p.m. on weekends, April through September. The Arboretum is located in northeast Washington, DC, 2.2 miles from the Capitol. It is bordered on the west by Bladensburg Road, on the north by New York Avenue, and on the south by M Street. Visitor entrances are located on New York Avenue and on R Street. United States National Arboretum
